We did it! Two neighbor friends and I set out early Thursday morning for a 16.4 mile hike! Ben Lomond is gorgeous! I loved the variety of pines, quakies, sagebrush and wildflowers all along the way. The peak was breath-taking and I felt lucky to be above the soupy atmosphere below. The descent home got a little hot and tiring, but well worth the effort and sore muscles! Ahhhh!
