My latest fire to put out (following close on the heels of preparing the yard for a wedding at the end of May) is getting ready for YW Camp in a few weeks. I'm the director three years running, and feeling older with each attempt! I DO love young women, love camping, and love being silly and so I guess it's a good fit for me for now. This year we are following the YW/YM scripture theme found in Mosiah 5:15. Therefore, I would that you should be steadfast and immovable, always abounding in good works. That Christ, the Lord God Omnipotent may seal you his. I love this scripture. In this unsteady world, it is more important that ever that young people know what their values are and stand firm. Our song is Like the Stars- a wonderful new LDS pop hymn that reminds us to be close to our Heavenly Father by being as steadfast as the North Star, and rock solid in Christ!
